Founder|Principal Consultant
Olusegun ("Olu") Osadiya
Olu is the founder and principal consultant of Centriv Petrologic, bringing over 20 years of industry experience and a client-first mindset to every engagement. He established the firm to deliver deep technical expertise and practical, economically grounded solutions to clients navigating complex reservoir and resource development challenges across both conventional and unconventional assets.
At Centriv Petrologic, Olu leads engagements spanning shale gas, tight gas, tight oil, sandstone, and carbonate reservoirs across major U.S. and international basins. He integrates reservoir engineering, production optimization, completions, and economic analysis to deliver solutions tailored to each asset's unique challenges. Whether advising on field development strategy, performing reserve analysis, diagnosing underperforming wells, or guiding complex investment decisions, his approach consistently bridges technical insight with real-world economics to drive measurable results for clients.
Before founding Centriv Petrologic, Olu held technical leadership roles at TotalEnergies, ConocoPhillips, and Halliburton, where he built a broad foundation across technical evaluation and analysis, and financial modelling and valuation on both domestic and international projects. He has authored numerous technical papers and is an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
Olu holds degrees in Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Engineering. He is particularly passionate about solving complex reservoir challenges that sit at the intersection of technical rigor and economic pragmatism — the kinds of problems where the right answer isn't always obvious.
